Too Much Information, Anita

Because of the lack of work to do at home, I was able to finish Phillip Margolin’s “Gone But Not Forgotten” in 1.5 days. It was good but the ending could have been better. Anyway, I have finally gotten myself to pick up my first edition of Laurell Hamilton’s “Danse Macabre”. It has been gathering dust in my room ever since I bought it impulsively on a sale. After 1 hour, I decided to put the book down.

That one burned my virgin eyes. Forgive me, but I think that the Church has spent its time banning the wrong books. I do not have anything against Hamilton’s works (I actually liked Laughing Corpse that’s why I did not hesitate to get this novel) but I was just utterly taken aback by this book. I wasn’t ready for a plunge at such literature.

I should have stayed with Harlan Coben. And truth be told, I really suck at random book pickings.

# ponderings. # books. # laurell hamilton.
